John`s Place in Regina

Always quiet on the restaurant side. Attentive servers. Just wish there was more veg friendly options.

This is a good place to have drinks and enjoy some pool. The appetizers are pretty good especially the boneless ribs.... years ago this was the place to go for a lovely prime rib dinner but in my opinion that is no longer the case. The last time we had it there is was extremely disappointing.

Mmm Steak Sandwich. And the interior has all the beautiful ivyes everywhere, not to mention the tree!

Beautiful establishment. The Main cook and Manager run a good operation. Very kind friendly. The waitress we had this night was super lovely and very in tune with our needs. Jon's Place my restaurant of choice for wings beverage and entertainment

Nice place, friendly staff. Good food and affordable selections. I did find a female hair strand in my water drink once, which was kinda gross...maybe consider hair nets.

Food is ok. Barkeep is amazing.

Great customer service. Had the fish n chips with greek salad. The whole meal was excellent. Not greasy at all. Tons of flavour. The greek salad was to die for. Give it a try for sure!! Will go back.

Was so nice at Johns place.

Old school decor, love it. Tree in the place, love it. Ribs were terribly unhealthy, loved em. Nacho's are stacked and full of cheese. Worth checking out for a beer and a snack. (bathroom was clean)

All the lights were beautiful

Outdated decor. I ordered their house special burger and fries. Hamburger wasn't cooked and the fries were soggy. The waitress finally came over and when I told her about the burger she did ask if I wanted anything else and took it off the bill. I wasn't interested at this point and left. Won't be back.

No soup after 3pm what ... we were cold brrr it windy and cold outside .......that kinda what we wanted ...

Horrible food and drinks! Before we can even try the food the waitress was trying to get us to pay 🤦‍♀️ the Manager also needs customer service skills.

John's place is my local food favourite in my neighbourhood. Every visit is friendly and warm. While the menu is a little on the expensive side, the meals that I've enjoyed have been done exactly to order. The restaurant side is cozy. Lots of memorabilia, pictures and loads of things to read on the walls.

My wife and I came here today for lunch. We ordered one of their platters. It was awesome. Dryribs, stuffed mushrooms, chicken strips, fries.... everything was cooked perfect and way more then enough food. If you are looking for a place that has good food, friendly staff not to mention trees growing inside do yourself a favor and come to John's place!

Got loud when the so called manager got into a heated discussion with a known gang member.

Friendly, polite, courteous and happy workers who seem to love their jobs. They ask you if you need help with anything and thats what I call, someone who loves their job. I'll always go there for food and vlts..lol

Great place to have a quieter, relaxed night. Hearty meals, pool tables, vlts, atm, friendly management. And there's a big tree inside!

No drink specials. Watered down drinks,the waitress looked paranoid.Shady people. It's a shame because it's very nice inside.
